Sarah is a lifeguard at the Chinook City Pool and this is her 7th year of guarding.
She is currently attending school at MSU Northern and loves being able to teach swim lessons and watch kids improve throughout the year.
Sarah was inspired to become a lifeguard as she spent a lot of time there and wanted to help people. One of her most memorable moments was when they would close for thunder and lightning and play UNO. One of the things that is the most important when at the pool is to be nice to the lifeguards. They work long and hard days to make sure everyone is safe. Sarah’s biggest safety tip is to listen to the guards when we talk about rules. When she is not at the pool she is either working on her schoolwork or crafting something, she crochets and sews, most often! Sarah loves a good “Old Lady” craft, and if she can make it, she will! Her favorite drink is Dr. Pepper and Doritos or Chocolate.
